Lead Portfolio of Chemical Development projects. This role is to ensure on time project delivery & customer engagement, with Efficient and effective management of internal capacities to achieve periodic business targets & growth plans.Key Responsibilities: Responsible for approximately 50 % chemical development portfolio of customer projects. Lead team of 7 Project managers to Ensure OTIF Project Delivery with Quality. Responsible for delivery related end to end management to achieve organizational revenue objectives Understand and ensure fulfilment of contract obligations Customer Management: Ensure periodic communication & relationship building across Project Life cycle Ensure vigilance on Project Cost variance & profitability. Defining Risk assessment and Mitigation plans. Continual improvement in Project Processes. Propose, facilitate, and at times lead enterprise initiatives aimed toward building and enhancing Chemical Development capabilities Conflict management -Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Bring together appropriate cross-functional and cross-organizational stakeholders to ensure delivery. Ensure right level of control through effective use of governance frameworks and established escalation mechanisms Identify & Develop future project managers for Chemical development and integrated projects. Ensuring safety of self, teams and lab/plant by adhering to safety protocols and following environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace. Ensuring that there are no safety non-compliances in areas that my team operates in. Ensuring adherence to all Syngene policies related to data integrity by all members of the team including self Ensuring all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures are completed on time by all members of the team including self Reporting incidents (or near-misses) and learnings from those incidents to avoid recurrence. Compliance to Syngene s quality standards at all times and ensuring the same by the team members. Follow environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety Ensure environment, health, and safety (EHS) measures are imparted via training and adhered within the teamEducational Qualification: Postgraduate in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or equivalent. PMP / MBA is preferred.Technical/functional Skills: CRO/CDMO business New product development (API) Project Management Awareness about Quality & regulatory compliance Awareness about SAP / Project softwareExperience: 15 + years or plus experience in process or product development projects in Pharmaceutical/Chemical/ equivalent specialty science domain.Behavioral Skills: Result oriented Collaboration Customer Centricity Problem Solving & Strategic Thinking,
