Job Description

    The AWM Ops Change Mobilization Team partners with Operations, Technology and Business leadership to take the best of what we do, within and across LOBs, and drive deliberate cross-pollination across AWM Operations teams, promoting global process consistency and standards. We focus on evolving the organization s capabilities to move from lower to higher-value added tasks, and creating agile processes, teams and infrastructure that enable differentiated client experiences and outcomes. We follow a hypothesis-driven, data-informed approach to identify opportunities and employ co-design principles to create effective, scalable, well controlled solutions. Those solutions seek to differentially equip our people and support their development as Operations professionals of the future. We serve the broader organization and maintain a service-oriented attitude in all that we do. As a Business Analyst on the Change Mobilization team you will act on behalf of the business, operations, and our clients to enhance workstreams supporting the Program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to analyzing workflow processes, evaluating viable process alternatives, and development of business requirements and functional requirements for the resulting solution. You will also support and participate in design, development, testing, and implementation of requirements throughout their lifecycle to ensure quality and on-time delivery. Significant focus of enhancements will be dedicated to documentation and documentation management applications associated with client and account onboarding.Examples of these enhancements may include: updating the document repository and tracking systems to ensure version integrity; analyzing and suggesting/completing document changes relating to format, functionality, and aesthetics; partnering with multiple cross-functional groups and teams to ensure document uplifts optimize the experience for all stakeholders both internal and external; supporting functional, process, and UI modernizations to document tracking and management applications.On a day to day basis, you will act as an advocate for the business and user community, striving to meet the goals of the program while designing the optimal user experience. Significant focus of enhancements will be dedicated to documentation associated with client and account onboarding. You will be asked to:
    • Analyze existing processes and systems and make recommendations for improvements
    • Work closely with Front Office, Onboarding, Legal, Risk, Compliance and other partners to strategize, implement, and maintain initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
    • Gather requirements through interaction with stakeholders in order to write user stories and specify acceptance criteria
    • Work closely with the development and testing teams to ensure the design is feasible, user stories accurately reflect the business need, test plans and scripts are complete, and the product is of high quality
    • Conduct sprint release planning and implementation activities
    • Measure progress (e.g. value delivered to clients in each sprint)
    • Maintain Jira and Confluence in partnership with Technology team
    • Coordinate operational readiness across various teams to ensure proper communication, training, and procedural updates
    • Present reports on progress as well as required decisions, issues and solutions/path to green
    Candidate should display:
    • Strong analytical skills, with experience in writing business and functional system requirements.
    • Experience working in an Agile team to gather business requirements, perform detailed analysis, and document user stories; experience in working with technology development teams during build and implementation phases
    • Strong Project Management and organization skills with consistent attention to detail
    • The ability to manage expectations by establishing and meeting clear timelines, deliverables and milestones
    • Creative problem solving and solid judgment decision making; research, gather, arrange, compile, summarize and evaluate data in recommending solutions
    • Ownership, transparency and escalation of risk / issues when they occur in a timely basis
    • Ability to communicate effectively with internal partners through verbal and written channels
    • Comfort interacting with technology teams (application development, quality assurance, production support)
    • Ability to work well in fast paced/multi-tasking environment; be able to easily adapt to changes and strategies adjustments required within the operation
    • Strong time management skills; efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time, to a high-level standard
    • Ability to support the development of executive presentations and updates with confidence, decisiveness, and vision
    Desired Qualifications:
    • BA/BS degree with 3+ years of relevant work experience in a professional setting
    • Experience writing user stories - Agile certification a plus
    • 3-5 years of experience working on medium to large technology projects
    • Familiarity with Client Onboarding processes, toolsets, and documentation a plus
    • Self-starter with excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
    • Able to manage influence upward and downward within function/department
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to work with all levels of personnel
    • Proactive, self-motivated and flexible with a positive attitude
    • Proficient with Microsoft products including; Word, Excel, Access, Project, Visio and/or Change Mobilization Toolset: Signavio, Alteryx, Xceptor, DaaS, etc.
    • Proficient in Jira and Confluence
