Job Description

Instrument & Control Design Engineer to be employed within the Energy Projects Design Centre.Qualification: B. Tech / BE in Instrumentation & Control engineer/ Electronics & Communication engineer. Min 5 years of work experience in control systems and/ Or Instrumentation. Good Command of written & verbal English. Good knowledge of MS Office Programs. Strong communication skills, Team worker Analytical Thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, positive & energetic. Ability to work with other engineering discipline teams. No restriction to travel / stay abroad.Carrying out I & C design works as per the contract requirements & procedures. Preparing of design deliverables including the design basis, logic diagrams, DCS HMI graphics, I/O list, control narratives, C&E Matrix, control panel layouts, loop diagrams, instrument data sheets, cable & drum schedules & P & IDs. Specifying the equipments, instruments & preparing the material requisition & technical specifications. Exchanging the information with the other engineering disciplines & Co-coordinating the work together. Reviewing and approving the vendor produced documents. Evaluating whether catalog data & technical drawings of instruments, equipments & control cables are in line with projects requirements as well as process needs. Preparing of design deliverables of control systems: DCS, ESD, PLC, F&GDS. Performing FATs as required.
