Job Description

Job Summary:The computer operator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of computer systems and peripherals. This includes monitoring system performance, responding to user requests, and performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.Key Responsibilities:System Monitoring: Continuously monitor computer systems, servers, and networks to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.User Support: Provide technical support to end-users by resolving hardware and software issues and answering inquiries.Data Entry: Accurate and efficient data entry to input, update, and maintain records and databases.System Maintenance: Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including updates, patches, and backups.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems, escalating issues when necessary.Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage data backup and recovery procedures to prevent data loss.Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with security protocols and take proactive measures to protect sensitive data.Documentation: Maintain detailed records and documentation of system operations, procedures, and user requests.Hardware and Software Knowledge: Stay current with hardware and software trends, and update systems accordingly.
