Job Description

    Skills and ExperienceExperience of 1 year as English, Social Science and Computer Science Editor in a publishing firm(k-12)Editorial role in school books (k-10) will be preferredTeaching experience will be an added advantageFluency in English (writing/reading/speaking)An eye for detail along with critical and logical thinkingAbility to handle projects independentlyEfficiency and knack for working in an atmosphere of multitaskingGood presentation skillsJob DescriptionDevelop/revise content for the academic books according to the publications style, editorial policy, and publishing requirements.Proofread of content developed to check the correctness of grammar, word spellings.Check content (e.g. text, screenshots, artwork, etc.) for accuracy and ensure that it complies with copyright and privacy regulations.Ensure quality control at every stage of the editorial and production process.Ensure relevant, age-appropriate and factually correct content is released.Plan, develop, prioritise and implement the publishing process ensuring that books/products/solutions are published within set deadlines and are of the best quality.
