Job Description

    Job Role:We are seeking a Corporate Application Engineer to provide technical support to our customers using our Aprisa Place and Route tools. This role will put you at the forefront of advance Place and Route technologies being deployed on wide range of ICs for 5G, AI, Automotive and other applications. Some key aspects of this role would include:Working on 7nm, 5nm and 4nm designs with various customers for deployment of Aprisa place and route tools.Using your expertise to solve customers problems for critical designs to achieve desired performance, area and power targets.Providing training and technical support to customers using Aprisa tools; Creating articles, documents and videos to assist with the deployment of key featuresThe role will allow for extensive partnership with R&D, Field teams and Customers; developing and delivering best in class Place and Route product and flow support.Requirements0-3 years of experience in Physical Design with mainstream place and route toolsHands on experience in Physical Design (floorplan, placement, CTS and routing) and timing closure of complex blocks and/or Full Chip designs.Hands-on experience with commercial place & route tools like Synopsys-lCC2, Cadence-lnnovus or Aprisa is a must.Tapeout experience is preferred but not a must.Good understanding of timing, power and area trade-offs.Ability to pickup new flows, learn on the job and influence QOR is a must.Experience delivering designs with multiple voltage islands and top-level floorplanning & chip-assembly is a plus.TCL, Perl or Python scripting is a plus.Strong verbal and written communication skills; good presentation skillsGood problem solving and debugging skillsAcademic:BE/B.Tech in Electronics and Communication (E&C) or Electrical or Telecom Engineering.ME/M.Tech in VLSI or Microelectronics is a plus.Organization: Digital IndustriesCompany: Mentor Graphics (India) Private LimitedExperience Level: Mid-level ProfessionalJob Type: Full-time,
