Job Description

*

  • To coordinate the implementation of quality systems.
  • To be responsible for quality care to every IP and OP patients in Apollo Hospital Bhubaneswar
  • Initiate, drive & implement the whole NABH accreditation process for the unit
  • Meeting patients and their relatives to understand want, demand & need and to ensure delivery of care as per these requirements.
  • Document each and every finding and communicate to appropriate authority in the Hospital for necessary action
  • Regular reporting of standards to senior managers including the CEO and to all functioning clinical and non-clinical units, thus combining top-down approach with the bottom-up approach to continuously improving quality.
  • To maintain documents of all organizational policies, quality system procedures and work instructions.
  • Audit quality outcomes and results - and complete the audit loop as necessary.
  • To conduct management review meeting and follow-up with the actions initiated.
  • To ensure monitoring committees meet as per the frequency
  • To coordinate with the HODs for the clearance of non-conformity and ensure CA and PA are taken when necessary.
  • To coordinate with NABH and conduct surveillance audit / rectification audit.
  • To continuously bring to the notice of the management representative about the system and give feedback.
  • To update the documents as and when required.
  • To conduct periodic patient tracer and data tracer to ensure compliance to NABH/JCIA norms.
  • To be part of EOC team and conduct safety rounds in the hospital.

  • To ensure NABH quality awareness to the new recruits.
  • To ensure organizational monitors are identified and analyzed as per requirement
  • To be an active member in committee as identified by the management
  • To take up any other quality initiative as decided by the management.
  • To perform any work as and when assigned by superior.
  • To adhere the safety norms of hospital, follow both patient, and staff safety rules.
  • To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior and management.
