Be part of the team that delivers the high velocity and high-quality infrastructure on AWS. Responsibilities:
• Develop and own best practices/methodologies for provisioning, application scaling, configuration management, capacity planning, monitoring to improve organization-wide visibility into how distributed systems interact and perform in sandbox and production.
• Work with engineers on the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of production infrastructure services.
• Scoping of work, management of backlog, and predictability of project delivery.
• Ensure that we are continuously raising our standard of engineering excellence by implementing best practices for coding, testing, and deployment.
• Service ownership, and customer support.
Required Skills/Experience:
• Masters / Bachelor s degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Equivalent Experience.
• 5 years of Systems/Applications automation in 24x7 Production Services environments.
• 5 years of experience leading infrastructure projects with a distinguished track record on technically demanding projects on top of AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as code utilizing tools like AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS API-based systems in production workloads.
• Strong sense of ownership, customer service, and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and can-do approach.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent troubleshooter, utilizing a systematic problem-solving approach.
• Proven experience in Windows/linux system administration in scalable and high available production workloads in AWS.
• Hands-on experience in supporting business-critical infrastructure operations like upgrades, patching
• Proficient and competent skills with code/scripting, e.g., Python, BASH, PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with Software Development Lifecycle and related tools, such as JIRA, Bitbucket, GIT, Jenkins, or equivalent.
Desired Skills/Experience:
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional
• Experience with metrics integration using ELK stack and other time-series database and visualization tools (Grafana etc.)
