Job Description

We are seeking a Director of Email Marketing to lead a rapidly growing email marketing team. The team has grown from 1 to 4 in the past three months, and we anticipate it doubling again in the next two quarters as our client base grows. This is an opportunity to grow and shape our email strategies from product offerings to team structure as we build this group from the ground up.As we conceive it today, this role will focus on:

  • Developing expanded email service offerings, with an emphasis on both promotional and automated campaigns
  • Leading development and hiring for the growing Email Marketing team
  • Integrating testing-first email programs with Paid and Website Optimization efforts
  • Partnering with clients to design email marketing programs that specifically seek to drive impact while gaining critical customer insights
  • Working with business development to pitch new and existing clients on expanded services
Experience and skills
  • 5+ years email marketing experience, ideally including both promotional and automated campaigns
  • 2+ years of experience in people management, including experience helping to support and foster professional growth
  • Experience working in professional services, specifically serving in a client-facing capacity is a huge value
  • We are platform agnostic, so exact platform skills are not required. Current client platforms include, but are not limited to: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, MailChimp, and EveryAction.

  • Passion for using data to increase conversions
  • Experience analyzing digital business data to inform decisions and plan strategically
  • Time spent working cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment, preferably in a remote capacity
