Backed by 50 years of experience, our energy experts work at the intersection of markets, policy, and practice, helping government and commercial clients worldwide devise effective energy strategies, and develop and implement plans and programs for today and tomorrow.Job DescriptionTo support robust growth and opportunities across our commercial energy advisory practice, ICF is seeking an experienced energy sector professional who is keen to manage and grow an established team of consultants, modellers, and researchers in our New Delhi and Bangalore offices. The position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to guide those teams into their next phase of growth, working closely and collaboratively with the advisory team in the US and the management team in India. A successful candidate will also support the teams work on cutting edge issues across power and gas sectors internationally, including a strong focus on North American markets.Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with ICF s global energy practice, establish annual plans with clear targets to expand the consulting capabilities and market reach of the India teams, including the development of a mix of knowledge products, enhanced client delivery, and broader business development support.
  • Implement annual plans and be responsible for the achievement of targets
  • Establish a quality control plan for technical work and support senior technical staff with quality control oversight and assurance over client delivery products and services
  • In collaboration with US consulting and operational managers, mentor and oversee professional development plans of senior team members and the broader team members
  • Enhance operational processes, including product flow, recruitment, and internal and external branding of the team, its products, and services
  • Execute on thought leadership on key issues, as determined in the annual plan
  • Represent the team, its products, and services within ICF global operations and externally in India and other markets as required
Professional Qualifications
  • A proven record of excellent team management, mentoring, professional development of others, organizational leadership, decision-making, accountability and interpersonal skills, including being an articulate speaker and sympathetic listener
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and advise a highly-skilled, interdisciplinary team that leads to a broad range of projects.
  • Excellent writing and presentation ability, as well as experience successfully advising an intercultural team in a consulting context.
  • Experience in the energy sector market, with analytical / consulting orientation (experience in US power markets would be a plus)
  • Organized and with the ability to prioritize and multi-task and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Other Qualifications:
  • Masters degree in the relevant field (E.g: Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Operations Research or Business Administration)
  • Minimum 15+ years experience, with at least 3-5 years working internationally or with international teams and at least 5-7 years of managing teams
