Job Description

    JOB PURPOSE The incumbent will be responsible for providing senior management at group level ( Company ) with the financial analysis and information they need to make major operational, financial, and strategic decisions. Will be involved in running the annual budgeting process and producing regular forecasts that show the expected future performance of the business; Will be involved in evaluating financial and investment information, investor management and investor reporting. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 1. Manage Financials planning and Budgeting - Involved in setting up the budget from scratch; Responsible to coordinate with various stakeholder and prepare the financial budget of the Company - Create detailed business analysis on company (and each business) performance against budgets and targets of all the businesses, outlines problems/ challenges, opportunities and propose solutions for the business- Perform reporting of financials to various stakeholders like investors, business team and Board - Prepare financial projections of the company for various regulatory reporting, investors reference and valuations exercise- Implement critical cost optimization projects and oversee their implementation- Analyze business trends and past results, advise on how company performance can be improved and explore potential growth scenario- Prepare management MIS like Variance analysis, branches reporting, Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for onward reporting. 2. Financials reporting and MIS - Prepare management MIS like Variance analysis, branches reporting, Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for onward reporting.- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on Business Unit results- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking- Prepare annual operating plan, period forecasts in consultation with Senior leaders and Function Heads of business teams- Coordinate for the preparation of business wide financial statements (P&L Actuals, Projected, Key KPI), earnings and management discussion and analysis (annual and interim)- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support- Periodic analysis of budget vs actual financials and detailed level clear action plan agreed with all stakeholders- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting 3. Prepare ALM - Responsible to project the cash position of the company by assessing projected / planned Cash inflow and outflow considering the business growth plan and current operations- Provide ALM inputs to help treasury to assess the funding requirement- Evaluating whether the companys current assets and investments are the best use of the companys excess working capital Skills & Qualification Required: Qualifications- Minimum Qualification required: CA / MBA in Finance- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Work Experience - Minimum 5 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis profile- Should be able to manage multiple deliverables.- Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated- Highest standards of accuracy and precision- Takes pro-active ownership and accountability for independent analytical work or process coordination and improvement.- Ability to balance speed and accuracy,
