Job Description

    Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic Female Education Counselor to join our educational institute. As a vital member of our student support team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and assisting our female students on their academic journey. Your expertise and commitment will contribute to the overall success and well-being of our students, helping them achieve their educational and personal goals.Responsibilities:
    • Provide personalized academic and career counseling to female students, ensuring that their individual aspirations, strengths, and needs are addressed.
    • Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions to assess students academic performance, interests, and goals, and assist them in making informed decisions about their educational path.
    • Collaborate with students to create individualized academic plans, course schedules, and long-term academic goals, taking into consideration their academic progress, extracurricular activities, and future aspirations.
    • Support students in exploring various academic and career pathways, helping them align their interests and skills with suitable educational programs and career options.
    • Assist students in the college admissions process, including researching potential colleges, preparing application materials, and providing guidance on standardized tests, scholarships, and financial aid opportunities.
    • Monitor and track students progress, intervening proactively to address any academic or personal challenges they may face, and recommending appropriate support services or resources.
    • Organize and facilitate group workshops, seminars, and presentations on topics related to study skills, time management, stress management, and career development.
    • Collaborate with other members of the student support team, teachers, and parents/guardians to ensure a holistic and collaborative approach to student success.
    • Stay current on educational trends, college admissions requirements, and career opportunities to provide accurate and up-to-date information to students.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions, student progress, and interventions.
    • Contribute to the development of educational materials, resources, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall student experience.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors or Masters degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
    • Proven experience in academic advising, career counseling, or education counseling.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues effectively.
    • Empathetic and patient demeanor, with a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
    • Knowledge of educational systems, college admissions processes, and career development trends.
    • Familiarity with various assessment tools, counseling techniques, and learning styles.
    • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
    • Proficiency in using technology for counseling and record-keeping purposes.
    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
    • Ethical and professional conduct, maintaining confidentiality and following best practices in counseling ethics.
    • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as required.
