Job Description

    Position Overview:The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of fleet management, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the companys vehicles. This role involves fieldwork, requiring regular travel and direct interaction with fleet personnel.Responsibilities:1. Conduct routine vehicle inspections, coordinating with maintenance teams for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.2. Recruit, train, and supervise drivers, ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Monitor drivers performance and conduct regular reviews.3. Develop and implement strategies for optimal delivery routes, fuel reduction, and improved fleet efficiency.4. Ensure compliance with fleet regulations and maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and driver activities.5. Oversee fuel consumption, implement measures for efficiency, and monitor fuel expenses, reporting on variances.6. Develop and implement. emergency response procedures for breakdowns, accidents, or unforeseen incidents.7. Generate regular reports on fleet performance, analyzing key metrics like fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and vehicle downtime for improvement opportunities.8.
