Job Description

Overview : We are currently seeking a Head of Data Science to develop Electric Vehicle s analytical tools to perform data management, data mining and trend analysis, statistical analysis, and support data driven model development and continuous improvement. This position requires a creative and analytical mindset with a strong understanding of data architectures, including modern approaches to cloud data storage, pattern recognition, and machine learning. The successful candidate should also have a solid understanding of the Electric Vehicle business. Key Responsibilities : - Develop data analytical tools to integrate data collected and provide a variety of data trend reviews on vehicle/pack/cell data- Work with various internal team to support development of cutting-edge algorithms and analytics - Develop goals for identifying interesting patterns including aging behavior, drive habits and other pattern recognition concepts by machine learning or any other algorithms for further related applications- Develop various data processing, viewing, managing, and analytical tools to support engineering development in cross-functional teams- Support advanced deep learning models and tools for data analysis and optimization- Deliver documents related to data analytics algorithm development Qualifications : - 8+ to 15 years of work experience in data science, preferable in EV field- 3+ years experience with Python, R, AWS, and database design and implementation- Demonstrated experience developing and launching analytic platforms based on data science- MS or PhD with supporting degree of Computer Science, Mathematics, or Data Science related Engineering preferred- Experience in writing efficient code to process and analyze large data sets- High level of mathematical and advanced data process and analysis capabilities- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude- Comfortable with initiating and taking ownership of projectsThis job opening was posted long time back.
