As a Full-Stack Java developer you will be responsible for design, development and maintenance of trade order entry and execution systems. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with extensive hands on development experience with Java & Javascript, designing and building integrated systems and a commitment to writing highly reliable, scalable, testable and maintainable code. The individual will play a critical role in every phase of the SDLC and need to communicate and liaison with various stakeholders and teams across the business and technology space. The candidate must be able to step up to every challenge the position offers, meet deadlines and deliver quality code that meets of highest standards. This role will provide great potential for individual growth and exposure to cutting edge technologies like building cloud native applications using ReactJs, Spring Boot, WebSocket gateways, message brokers including Kafka & UM, and data fabric solutions like Gemfire.Key Responsibilities: Full-stack design, development for financial order management and trading software.Follow and promote Agile practices like SCRUM and BDD.Research new technologies, identify and learn best practice, adapt quickly and provide technical guidance to other team members.Work with multiple globally distributed teams to deliver end-to-end solution across regions.Required Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in an engineering field with 6+ years experience in Architecture and Software Development of applications.Prior experience working at a large tier global financial institution.Excellent analytical and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues in an easy to understand manner and present to leadershipTechnical Knowledge:Strong computer science fundamentals such as algorithms, data structures, multithreading, object-oriented development, distributed applications, client-server architecture.Experience with Java Application Frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot)Strong Understanding of web fundamentals (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, browser)Object-oriented and MVC JavaScript experience, knowledge of UI Frameworks such as React, AngularJS and JQuery.Strong understanding of REST API design and WebSocketsExperience in testing/automation frameworks (Cucumber, Puppeteer, Selenium, Junit).Experience in testing performance of web-apps using chrome dev toolsKnowledge of SCM, packaging, and build tools GIT, Subversion, Jenkins, npm, maven, webpackPreferred if acquainted with Cloud Platform (preferably Pivotal Cloud Foundry)Experience with relational databases and Cloud Object StoresKnowledge of agile software development methodologies such as Scrum/XPExperience working with CI/CD tools like JenkinsExposure to Atlassian tracking, collaboration and code quality tools.Experience in working in a Global / Virtual team,
