Job Description

Manager Costing with Leading FMCG Company in Gurgaon.1. Purpose:- Lead Product Costing of existing and new product launches- Play business partnership roles to support supply /procurement team in driving margin improvement.- Partnering with business/ procurement in identifying cost saving opportunities- Rolling out SKU wise standard costing.- Drive insightful financial analysis to enable value-added decision-making on product costing2. Key Responsibilities:COGS related:- Actively participate with Procurement in identifying cost saving opportunity / analysing impact of inflation, exploring opportunity to reduce impact of inflation by hedging etc.- Actively supporting marketing / procurement in finalising costing for new product launches- Rolling standard costing on annual basis:- Responsible for rolling out SKU wise standard costing process- Monthly analysis of variance vs standard and LY- Complete ownership of PPV analysis- Be a central point of contact for all product costing- Ensured accurate month end closing of product cost- Support procurement in taking capex decisions and analysis impact of profitability and cash flow- Assets/mold review on a quarterly basis making sure that books give correct picture on the asset clearly distinguishing the obsolete/non- working assets Sales Freight and other distribution expenses (SF/ODE)- Provide analytical support to logistic team in building efficiency across Sales Freight and other distribution expenses (SF/ODE), negotiation strategy support including participation in negotiations as necessary delivering optimal costs and terms.- Execute & govern deployed logistic costs (SF/ODE) reporting and analytics, providing periodic commentary and root cause analysis as required.- Perform month-end closing on SF/ODE, ensuring all costs are appropriately recorded.- Working with FP&A team in finalising Budget / Fst and S&OP financial3. Qualification & Experience:- Chartered Accountant with minimum 7 to 10 years preferably within good FMCG or Good MNC consumer companies- Broad experience across Costing/ Manufacturing finance roles,
