Job Description

    This is a key position that will report to one of the senior vertical heads in the team and will work closely with a team of outstanding professionals. Responsibilities will include: Design and execute public policy initiatives and develop engagement strategies with external stakeholders, including industry associations, consultants and the policy community. Establish and handle relationships with key internal and external partners. Analysing and translating complex legal, policy and regulatory developments into relevant briefs for actionable use. Draft policy and background materials for relevant meetings and engagement. Adjusting work hours to support European and US-based teams.,Key QualificationsKey Qualifications
    • Ability to comprehend and communicate policy and legislative priorities across multiple subjects, specifically covering Privacy, Cross Border Data, Manufacturing, Retail, E-Commerce and Content Regulation.
    • Strong relationships or demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships across diverse stakeholder groups, including industry associations, think tanks and external vendors, to drive engagement and initiatives.
    • Knowledge and experience of the working of the Government of India, key institutions and regulatory authorities / judiciary.
    • Experience of selecting, supporting and organizing policy-focused events.
    • Evidence of creative problem solving history, ability to work well collaboratively and under pressure.
    • Excellent professional presence; Highly motivated self-starter and must enjoy a fast-paced environment.
    • Superior oral and written capabilities, including presentation skills, and strong attention to detail.
    • Collaborative and willingness to pitch in when necessary; Capacity to work in international cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
    • Knowledge of the policy issues relevant to Apple is preferred.
