Job Description

    Job descriptionResponsibilities
    1. Develop and execute the national sales strategy to achieve business objectives, revenue targets, and market share growth.
    2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, retailers, and distributors, leveraging your extensive network in the apparel industry.
    3. Identify and target potential customers and market segments to expand the customer base and maximize sales opportunities.
    4. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales and promotional campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business goals.
    5. Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve individual and team targets.
    6. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and make strategic recommendations to senior management.
    7. Analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and generate regular reports to evaluate sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans accordingly.
    8. Manage the sales budget and resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation to drive sales growth and profitability.
    9. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to enhance brand visibility, network with potential customers, and stay updated on industry trends.
    10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, production, and logistics, to ensure seamless execution of sales orders and timely delivery to customers.
    Requirements:
    1. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A masters degree would be a plus.
    2. Proven track record of 15-20 years in sales and business development within the apparel industry, with a focus on national sales and customer network expansion.
    3. Strong network of customers across pan India, with a demonstrated ability to leverage relationships for business growth.
    4. Experience in managing multi-brand outlets (MBOs) is highly preferred.
    5. Expertise in the ethnic apparel segment is an added advantage.
    6. Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing sales teams.
    7. Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
    8. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
