Job Description

    • As part of the Artificial Intelligence and Data Organization (AI&D), you will drive various security and risk management activities for data related frameworks, applications and platforms including AI/ML and Visualization interfaces. You will analyze the key risk that needs to be addressed across the ever-evolving AI&D platforms to ensure we are able to better serve data driven systems and decisioning across Verizon. You will be part of the overall Security Maven team in AI&D and work closely with CISO team and central security mavens to adopt best practices and DevSec Ops automation for AI&D portfolio.
    • Driving the overall security and risk management for all applications as a principle maven for AI&D portfolio.
    • Providing technical direction and strategy to refine and implement Security Engineering Practices - aimed at mitigating fraud and security threats across all endpoints and architectures deployed across AI&D portfolio.
    • Working closely with AI&D Application, Platform, App Security teams and other Key stakeholders in implementing Security Engineering Practices and mitigating the Security Vulnerabilities using automation.
    • Supporting teams with major platform issues and coordinating triage efforts to solve them.
    • Documenting and maintaining security playbooks and supporting adoption by different teams.
    • Adhering to industry standards and best practices and understanding emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve the systems, application, infrastructure, and processes.
    Where you ll be working In this hybrid role, youll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.What we re looking for.You ll need to have:
    • Bachelor s degree or four or more years of work experience.
    • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
    • Experience in driving Security Engineering, Security Vulnerability Management, Implementation of Security Tools etc for a large portfolio.
    • Experience in SAST, DAST, OSS, IP, Cloud Security Tools like Fortify, OWASP ZAP, CheckMarx, Real Time Application Protection, Threat Modelling, Logging & Monitoring Tools.
    • Experience in technical consultancy to the organization in resolving Security Vulnerabilities.
    • Experience in data & ml-based platform and application security testing including API and Micro services.
    • Experience in Developing and implementing Security Defence strategy, Standards, Technology Driven Security Automation.
    • Experience in Fraud / Security Architect across various technical platforms and domains in Threat Detection/Prevention/ Application Security, OWASP Security testing methodology.
    • Experience in various data platform architectures.
    Even better if you have one or more of the following:
    • Master s degree.
    • Experience in Professional Security Certifications in Security Engineering, Defensive Operations, Security Architecture and Security Analysis like CISSP CEH, CSSLP, etc.
    • Two or more years of experience in threat modelling practices into the Software Development Lifecycle for data engineering-based applications.
    • Two or more years of knowledge of Splunk, SPL and anomaly detection and visualization development.
