Job Description

The Role Context:Wadhwani Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that collaborates with Government of India (GoI) and State government officials with knowledge about emerging technologies.As a Project Manager, you will lead and oversee projects focused on implementing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions and driving digital transformation initiatives across the Ministry. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure successful project delivery by collaborating with AI engineers, data engineers, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders. You will define project objectives, manage resources, track progress, and drive projects to completion while meeting the Ministrys strategic goals for AI and digital transformation.Key Responsibilities:a. Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans for AI and digital transformation initiatives, outlining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand. project requirements and success criteria.b. AI Solution Implementation: Work closely with AI engineers and data engineers to ensure the effective design, development, and deployment of AI solutions aligned with project objectives.c. Digital Transformation Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of the organizations digital transformation strategy by identifying opportunities for AI integration and process optimization.d. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges related to AI implementation and digital transformation.e. Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate clear and timely communication among project team members, stakeholders, and senior management. Provide regular project status updates and reports on AI and digital transformation progress.f. Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, objectives, and requirements. Assess the impact of changes and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.g. Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, status reports, and change requests specific to AI and digital transformation projects.Desired Skills/ Competencies1. Education: A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.2. Project Management Experience: Proven at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, successfully leading AI implementation and digital transformation projects.3. AI and Digital Transformation Knowledge: Familiarity with AI technologies, machine learning methodologies, and digital transformation frameworks.4. Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders in the AI and digital transformation context.5. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify challenges and proactively find solutions to overcome barriers to successful AI and digital transformation initiatives.6. Project Management Certification: PMP (Project Management Professional) or relevant certifications in AI and digital transformation project management are advantageous.7. Industry Experience: Previous experience working on AI and digital transformation projects within relevant domains.KPIs:1. AI Solution Implementation Success Rate: Measure the percentage of AI solutions successfully implemented and integrated into the Ministrys operations.2. Stakeholder Satisfaction: Gather feedback from stakeholders to assess their satisfaction with AI and digital transformation project outcomes.3. Project Timeline Adherence: Track the percentage of projects completed on or before scheduled deadlines.4. Change Request Handling Efficiency: Measure the time taken to evaluate and approve change requests related to AI and digital transformation projects.5.
