Job Description

Supplier Onboarding and selection with collaborating purchase team
Supplier Quality management
Supplier Audit as per Plan
Work with Global purchase and Project team on execution of projects
New Product Development of parts like Casting, Plastic, Sheet Metal, Rubber,Glass ,PCB etc.
Handling Quality of Parts like Casting, Plastic, Rubber, Sheet Metal, Powder Coating, Anodized Parts, Plating-(zinc,chrome,Satin Nickel, Silver etc) Glass, Wire Harness, PCB,LED,Diode ,capacitor,Buzzer, etc
FMEA/Control Plan/SPC/MSA Monitoring and Improvements for non-achieved parameters.
Coordinating new projects at supplier end as per APQP and ensuring smooth production rampup. PPAP validation with psw sign off along with process audits .
Cost saving drives at supplier end.
Co-ordinate with other departments for inputs during development.
Monitoring of initial supply control.
Monitoring 4m changes at supplier location.
Product and process validation.
Fmea/Control plan/SPC/MSA monitoring and improvements for non-achieved parameters.
Monitoring and facilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions of supplier quality issues in 8d. Participate and work jointly with supplier & engineering team in design review and dfm meetings in-order to achieve product and process requirements.
Timely review of tool trials activities and closers of observation.
New and existing parts ECN/PCN approval as per change management.
Managing and monitor supplier PPM and improvement actions
Cost recovery against rejection and supplier warranty indicators.
Regular review and meeting with supplier for KPI.
Providing technical assistance to supplier
