Job Description

  • The candidate (Fresh MSc) will be responsible for carrying out research and development experiments for several projects in Synthetic Organic chemistry. The key responsibilities of a research associate/scientist are as follows:
Key Responsibilities: (Maximum 5-8 Points)
    • Conduct experiments make detailed observations and interpret the results.
    • Excellent contemporaneous data recording in ELN
    • Prepare technical reports by analyzing raw data.
    • Be abreast with latest technological developments in synthetic organic chemistry space.
    • Adhere to laboratory SOPs and safety protocols.
Educational Qualification: Research Associate Trainee- MSc/MTechTechnical/functional Skills: (Maximum 4-6 Points)
    • Strong scientific aptitude and keen interest synthetic organic chemistry
    • Ability to trouble shoot and come up with solutions to complex synthetic problem.
    • In dept knowledge of spectroscopic techniques (1D & 2D NMR)
    • Proficient in dealing with chiral compounds
    • Ability to purify complex mixtures
    • Hands on experience in chromatography LCMS/UPLC/MPLC/HPLC
    • Strong logical reasoning, ability to analyze critically and think creatively.
    • Strong analytical skills & high attention to detail with an ability to identify and diagnose an experimental problem and troubleshoot and/or innovate.
    • Good command over spoken and written English.
    • Basic level knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
