Job Description

Its innovative culture is driven by the passion of its 4240- strong team of scientists who work with clients from around the world to solve their scientific problems, improve R&D productivity, speed up time to market and lower the cost of innovation.Job Purpose:Perform synthetic chemistry reactions, reactions work -up, purifications, interpretation of spectral data and handling of analytical instruments.Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform synthetic chemistry reactions, reactions workup, purification of the compounds by column chromatography, crystallization, re-crystallization techniques, preparative TLC, and operating the lab equipment.
    • Handling of HPLC instruments for purity and Assay analysis for running projects.
    • Handling of KF instrument for check the moisture content for raw materials, solvents and products.
    • Record the observations of experiment/reaction, results, utilization of resources and other activities related to the reaction in LNB or ELNB following guidelines and in timely manner and ensure that the same is handled safely and confidentially.
    • Adherence to all procedures related to data integrity
    • Ensure there is no violation of any environment, health, and safety (EHS) requirements at all times in the workplace ensuring individual and lab/plant safety
    • Wear all required PPE at all times
    • Understand and demonstrate that you are responsible for safety of self & colleagues by following all necessary safety protocols at all times
    • Identify near-misses and potential incidents proactively and communicate those
    • Attend all assigned mandatory trainings related to data integrity, health, and safety measures.
    • Understanding and demonstrating responsibility for the safety of self & colleagues by following all safety protocols provided by Syngene
    • Adherence to all environment, health, and safety (EHS) policies & standards at all times in the workplace
    • Wearing all PPE as required.
    • Adherence to all procedures related to Syngene s data integrity policies
    • Compliance with Syngene s quality standards at all times.
    Educational Qualification: MSc. ChemistryTechnical/Functional Skills:
    • Good knowledge in synthetic chemistry
    • Analytical data interpretation skills
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    Experience: 6 to 9 yearsBehavioral Skills:
    • Able to follow instructions and performed the task under supervision.
