We empower the original mobile device: YOU!What were looking for:You would be part of India Citrix India management team delivering dual responsibility of managing public sector team nationally and North & East (includes Bangladesh, Bhutan & Nepal) regional sales team to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals and driving long term success of Citrix in India.Position SummaryNational responsibility for public sector includes Central, State Govt. and State-Owned Enterprises. The regional responsibility includes Enterprise, ITeS, Banking and Commercial accounts in North and East Region. Only SMB is outside the purview of role.You would be a playing captain as we build this business and apart from sales management you will require to get deep into field engagements leveraging CXO relationships to provide required aircover to Citrix sales team. Building public sector business nationally is key priority identified as per FY 21 plan and this role plays pivotal role in achieving that goal.You would be responsible for driving the professional development of other managers and staff on their team, including mentorship, training, and performance evaluation.The position is based in Delhi reporting to Area Vice President and Country Manager for Indian subcontinent. Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure sales organization meets booking commitment goals by setting strategies and leading sales managers in execution of the selling via Sales Teams through account and territory planning, diligent lead follow-up, mining the installed and new customer base and prospecting.
  • Define account and opportunity planning processes and develop new initiatives to maximize revenue and maximize market potential and lead sales management in developing execution strategy.
  • Provide guidance to account managers in matters of problem resolution, sales strategies, competitive analysis and pricing, bids/RFPs/RFQs, and corporate policy interpretation.
  • Lead sales organization in following the sales methodology and best practices, as well as using CRM as a system of record in order to maximize the Citrix opportunity.
  • Identify market potential (geographic, product, etc.), set sales strategies to capture this potential, and manage investments to eliminate coverage gaps. Participate in the design and development of organizational structures to address gaps and support short- and long-term business objectives.
  • Provide input to senior management into the go-to-market strategy for the territory.
  • Perform key functions to recruit high performance sales reps and sales management including interviewing, hiring, monitoring, employee feedback and documentation, counselling and coaching, and performance management / improvement when needed. Identify staffing needs. Work with senior management to set budgets and implement plan.
  • Orchestrating Resources - Provides organizational leverage to get the right resources to the right opportunities even in the face of the most complicated challenges. Is able to align and leverage geo-wide resources from multiple functions, some of which may not report direct to them.
  • Effectively manage expenses across the sales organization.
  • Communicate and collaborate with larger v-team in APAC and Corporate to maintain consistency with headquarters direction and strategy and informed of company activities and initiatives.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge and ability to articulate our value proposition; ability to train sales managers to implement this within the sales organization.
  • Engage with strategic Channel Partners in the development and execution of the overall business plan.
  • Prepare and execute marketing plan for the region in collaboration with marketing team.
Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)
  • Overall sales experience of 16 to 20 years in IT industry & min. 5 years in managing teams that sell complex technical business solutions in the enterprise space.
  • Deep expertise and proven track record of execution for public sector business nationally is must. Established connects with CXOs in industry including partner organization will be needed for success in this role.
  • High degree of motivation and professionalism with advanced organizational, project management, negotiation, change management, problem solving skills, process management, leadership and team building skills.
