Job Description

Location Delhi ; Package 5 8 LPA; with Reputed International School; Delhi (South / Central); Experience 5-7 yearsPosition- School NurseQualification: Diploma/Degree in Nursing (RN, B.Sc., or similar qualification)Experience: 5-7 years relevant experience preferred.Effective from: Immediate Workdays & hours: Non-Teaching Staff 260 Paid Days/Year @ 8 hours per day (Duty hours and days will vary and based on requirements)Other Requirements: Excellent clinical skills, Initiative, proficient in English communication, ability to work with multicultural clientele, problem solvingPosition Summary:Reporting to the Health Services Coordinator, the nurse is responsible for the implementation of health services such as identifying and treating health disorders for students and staff, evaluating the physical condition of students and staff and referring them to appropriate facilities as necessary. The role will include training the rest of the school staff in 1st Aid and Public Health. The successful candidate will also be trained in Contact Tracing for COVID-19. Experience in Public Health or School Nursing is preferred.Position Responsibilities:

  1. Provides primary and emergency health care for ill and injured students and staff.
  2. Documents and maintains records of students and staff health office visits and maintaining injury/ incident reports.
  3. Promotes maintenance of public health, safety and health standards to prevent illness, injury, or the spread of communicable disease.
  4. Provides health education and guidance to students, staff, and the community in coordination with appropriate personnel from PE, Health, and Counseling department.
  5. Provides on-campus health care during athletic tournaments/events and after school activities by arranging First Aid Center forschooland visiting students needing assistance during and after school hours.
  6. Maintains health office supplies for first aid and emergency care.
  7. Provides necessary Health support services for all off-campus trips.
  8. Assists in emergency preparedness by:
  • Arranging first aid/CPR/triage/disaster management training classes for appropriate members of the Crisis Response Team and MS/HS chaperones for off campus trips.
  • Preparing, providing, and maintaining first aid kits for classrooms, science labs, department offices, gates and the various crisis boxes and packs.
  • Checking crisis boxes around campus for restocking of medication/supplies.
  • Performs Contact Tracing for members of the community who have been identified with COVID-19 and emotional support thereafter for those in quarantine and isolation.
