Job Description

    eAs Security Architect II, youll engage in critical network and attack-related events for Akamais managed security customers. Help identify real time cyber-attacks, strategize & deploy mitigations while neutralizing adverse impact to the end users.As a Security Architect II, you will be responsible for:
    • Devising and engaging mitigation strategies to prevent real time attacks, using Akamai products & platform
    • Performing advanced analysis to identify attacks and threats to customers digital properties and/or their business network
    • Communicating with customers regarding challenges and providing updates and results on your mitigation and analysis
    • Innovating around tooling development & product enhancement.
    • Being a good advocate to customer centricity during day-to-day operations & incidents
    Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
    • Have Obtain relevant industry experience on primarily networking OR Akamai Platform OR Web application Security.
    • Have an in-depth understanding of networking fundamentals; Basic networking, TCP, IP, UDP.
    • Demonstrate knowledge of how the internet works, including, DNS. HTTP, Suite of IP Protocols
    • Need to have a common understanding on OWASP top 10 and how they relate to internet services compromise/attacks
    • Need to demonstrate excellent verbal & written communication skills and excellent collaboration & team work.
    • Have passion and ability to learn new tools and technologies and problem solving.
