Job Description

Business Research team is part of the Research Knowledge CoE stream within the Delhi Business Research Solutions Group (BRS). The team combines information selected from third-party sources with internal Clifford Chance data to provide research in response to specific requests. Business research includes Company Profiles, Market and Industry overviews, Competitive Analysis, Geographic and Executive research.

Key responsibilities

Create value added content by utilizing internal external public research sources such as government regulatory documents, stock exchanges, industry journals, analyst reports as well as information databases and our research tools to collect, summarize, and synthesize relevant financial, industry-specific market, and business information pertaining to: Global Public and Private companies Global Industries and Geographies Critical Business Information Transactions such as Mergers Acquisitions, Private Placements, and Public Offering Transactions Key Executives and Directors
  • Work closely with colleagues within as well as external to the practice, and SMEs to collect relevant information.
  • Support the practice while working on client engagements, developing syndicated reports as well as internal business development efforts.
    • Compile bespoke research documents on topics of interest across the firm
  • Liaise with clients in a professional and helpful manner and be responsible for front line client interaction.
  • Ensure full understanding of the job requirements using planning and negotiating skills to agree achievable deadlines.
    • Determine appropriate research approach.
  • Lead/ Support various business improvement initiatives in progress/ planned. Become the agent of positive change to your team and an expertise in your line of work.
  • Keep yourself updated on methods and technologies that can help make you and your team more efficient.

    • Skills Experience

    Very strong oral and written communication skills, including attention to detail Good working knowledge of MS PowerPoint Comfortable with MS Excel, Word and Outlook Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capability Bachelor s degree; MBA strongly preferred History of excellence in academics, personal and vocational achievements
  • 2-3 years work experience in a professional services environment (Management Consulting/ Business Research)
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the global Business environment, Databases (Capital IQ, Mergermarket, Nexis, Orbis, Bloomberg) international/ global Research sources and Content
