Senior Ansible Specialist Solutions ArchitectPosting Location : Location US-RemotePosting date 7 days ago(10/19/2022 6:00 AM)Job ID 97193 About the job The Red Hat Business Unit team is looking for a Senior Ansible Specialist Solutions Architect to join us. In this role, you will Eengage with customers in technical pre-sales activities concerning the Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and provide ongoing guidance and education post-sales to help ensure customer satisfaction with solution and future resale/renewal and expansion of sales opportunity. What you will do
• Engage with customers to understand need, propose an architecture to meets that need using Red Hat products and services, engage in presales proofs of concept and customized demos of the Red Hat products to prove that the proposed architecture satisfies the customer s needs, and provide support for installed technology throughout the duration of the customer presales engagement
• Deliver advanced presentations on relevant Red Hat products and functional area of IT Automation , providing both product overview and education in the form of individual customer presentations, online public webinars and workshops, and in-person public presentations and workshops
• Receive requests from sales teams needing assistance for advanced presales customer activity in the functional area of IT Automation , prepare with the sales team to understand customer needs and develop approach to engage effectively with customers, and then engage with customer to deliver
• Collaborate with sales teams to understand the structure of customer organizations and the overall organizational needs and goals to identify use cases that can be addressed with Red Hat products and services, and people that the sales team should engage
• Collaborate with sales teams to respond to RFPs and other questionnaires, as well as develop solution proposals following exploration of customer need
• Engage with the customer to understand their needs, and when the customer need is not met by normal use of Red Hat products, submit the unique requirements of the need to Red Hat Product Management and Engineering for assessment and consideration
What you will bring
• Bachelor s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or related field (in lieu of a 4-year Bachelor s degree, will accept a 3-year degree from an accredited U.S. or foreign university) and 5+ years of experience in the job offered or related role
• 5+ years of experience with: configuration management and orchestration tools; Linux as a system administrator; technical presales, I.T. development, I.T. support, I.T. system administration, technology consulting, or technology training; and at least one additional technology domain, like Windows, networking, virtualization, public or private cloud, Kubernetes or similar
• 2+ years of experience with Ansible for configuration management and orchestration
• Willingness to participate in up to 50% domestic travel required to client sites and conferences, following Red Hat s COVID-19 guidelines; travel expenses covered by Red Hat, Inc.
