Job Description

    • The position in discussion is with the Sales and Use Tax team in Indirect Tax practice at KGS. The individual would be reporting into the Associate Director / Manager within Tax Indirect Tax practice at KGS. This team is a part of Indirect Tax SUT Compliance core Service Delivery business unit of KPMG Global Services.
    This role is an integral part of the firm s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability, globally.:
    • Implement client s engagements from start to finish (planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects).
    • Maintaining and developing strong client relationships on various state and local indirect tax consulting/compliance engagements.
    • Researching and analyzing a wide range of tax issues and tax implications.
    • Managing engagement workflow, engagement team resources, and engagement billing.
    • Assisting with drafting and presenting new proposals to new and existing clients.
    • Providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance for the development and motivation of the engagement team.
    Job Requirements Qualifications
    • Minimum Master Degree from reputable universities with excellent academic result, majoring in Accounting or Finance
    • Minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience, preferably in a Big 4 consulting firm
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs, including spreadsheet programs (i.e. Excel).
    Behavioral / team skills
    • Willing to work hard, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
    • Strong analytical and advisory skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Able to work in fast moving and demanding environment.
    • Strong commitment, multi-tasking and team player.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (including strong presentation skills).
    • Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong experience in staff and tax management.
    • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
