Job Description

    Senior Ecosystems Solution Architect, EMEAIn this role, you will be the technical sales leader managing and developing our joint business with IBM. Your primary mission is to leverage IBM to create new sources of revenue for Red Hat, through joint solutions and offerings, and to enable IBM and Red Hat sales teams to sell these offerings to our customers. You will create possibilities, solve problems and establish trusted relationships with our partners. You will collaborate with the Sales, Customer Success and Engineering teams to influence and accelerate the adoption of our leading-edge open source Red Hat technology across Application Development, Automation, Platform Simplification, Cloud and Edge initiatives.You will lead introductory discussions for our solutions and, through deeper engagement, learn a greater depth of architectural and technical details specific to your partner (IBM) and joint customers. As the Ecosystem Solution Architect, you will coordinate the efforts of other Red Hat technical staff to design solutions and ensure customer adoption and satisfaction. In this role you will be a crucial part of the first impression our partners (IBM) have of Red Hat. Any knowledge of trends and challenges in specific industries, in particular FSI, are beneficial. Additionally, you will have a passion for open source, and a balance of technical expertise with business acumen. What you will do
    • Gain an in-depth understanding of our partners and joint customers business and technical objectives and IT environments, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering teams to assess the potential application of Red Hat and Partner solutions to create and deploy technical account plans.
    • Demonstrate Red Hats value proposition, across our portfolio, to key partner executives, sales, and technical teams to identify and create valuable and sustainable partnerships.
    • Develop and deliver technical enablement plans with partners that are aligned to our strategy.
    • Create and deliver sales enablement assets and training for Red Hat s field sales teams and our partners sales teams.
    • Collaborate with partners to create new solutions and offerings that incorporate Red Hat technology.
    • Facilitate engineering and presales co-creation with the partner ecosystem through presentations, demonstration, workshops and pilot projects.
    • Own and meet a bookings / revenue quota and perform regular reviews and report about the opportunities your assigned partners are working on.
    • Coordinate the technical efforts of other Red Hat resources, i.e. product specialists, Support and Professional Services.
    • Share your expertise by contributing to documentation (e.g., wikis, quick-start guides, blog posts, and white papers), developing reusable assets (e.g., demonstrations, workshops), and presenting at conferences.
    • Serve as a Red Hat product knowledge source for your partners.
    What you will bring
    • Integration, development, or administration experience with UNIX and Linux systems.
    • Experience with modern and emerging technologies, including public and private cloud, container orchestration and management, automation and configuration management, DevSecOps and CI/CD, and modern application frameworks.
    • Understanding of complex enterprise solutions and architectures.
    • Willingness to travel, typically 25% of your work week, across the EMEA region
