Senior Manager, Technical Product Management, Developer PortalYoull work closely with product managers, product marketing managers & content contributors within and outside the Developer BU to design their go-to-market developer content and experiences. You ll be responsible for bridging business and technical worlds working with creative and prolific engineers and designers to further the developer experience to attract, engage and convert enterprise developers into Red hat users and advocates. Well need you to have a broad understanding of all aspects of the management and optimization of web based digital properties, including UX and UI, design principles, digital content development, use of CMSs and publishing platforms like Drupal, version optimization, A/B and multivariate testing, SEO, SEM, SEA, and website performance analytics. What you will do
• Create a vision, strategy and roadmap extending capabilities for internal and external users by synthesizing input from end users, internal stakeholders and by analyzing competitive and industry trends.
• Define user experiences, journeys and no-cost developer SKU packaging that lead to self-serve discovery, on-boarding, hands-on learning on the Red Hat Hybrid Cloud Platform portfolio and natural self-serve free to fee progression.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Design/UX, Web Development, Marketing, IT) to articulate and prioritize platform, publishing, workflow, and UX roadmap while managing the strategic planning of the site; develop deep customer insights via usability testing, user interviews, A/B testing and optimized content placement.
• Partner with other marketers and product managers to deliver high-growth demand generation in a cross-functional environment, identify areas of opportunity rooted in data and industry best practice, and develop plans of action to guide conversion rate improvements via impactful web campaigns, landing pages, and user flows.
• Partner with business analysts to measure organic search and SEO, SEM, and SEA efforts; audit and optimize SEO, including keyword strategy, backlinks, copy optimization, metadata, evergreen content, etc.
• Work closely with content contributors to understand content and campaign needs, and how publishing actions and page formats can support those objectives; develop guidelines and train content contributors on best practices for content optimization; drive improvements through self-serve flows and improvement of CMS, editorial workflow, and content analytics.
• Hire, train, grow and mentor a strong geo distributed team of top-performers; lead the organization in operational and collaborative excellence. Model Red hat values.
What you will bring
• 10+ years in product management, creating vision, strategy, roadmap and managing the full product development cycle; experience in developing high traffic , business critical digital web properties, working with engineering teams, driving product requirements, bringing products to market and optimizing products
• 8+ years of experience with CMS based digital website publishing ideally for a complex technical platform website, ability to define simple user experiences for complex technology platforms, ability to define current and future state information architectures; data driven experience and business analytics using the Adobe suite products; Hands-on experience with Drupal is a plus.
• Comfortable implementing concepts of digital marketing and Product Led Growth to guide site visitors on the path-to-product journeys via compelling, friction free journeys and experiences
• 5+ years experience with SEO, including keyword strategy, backlinks, copy optimization, evergreen content, and use of metadata
• 3+ years experience in managing technical high performing teams, with a preference for technical product management and/or engineering management.
• Solid project management skills; detail-oriented and thorough in approach to projects
