Job Description

    We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with hands on experience and build scalable, extensible data warehouse solutions, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, collaborate with other team members, implement best practices for data engineering. Our engineering process is fully agile, and has a really fast release cycles - which keeps our environment very energetic and fun.What youll do:
    • Design and development of scalable applications.
    • Work with Product Management teams to get maximum value out of existing data.
    • Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements software system.
    • Ensure high scalability and performance
    • You will advocate for good, clean, well documented and performing code; follow standards and best practices.
    Wed love for you to have:Education: Bachelor/Master Degree in Computer ScienceExperience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in BI/DW with hands-on coding experienceMandatory Skills
    • Strong in problem-solving
    • Strong experience with Database and Data Warehousing technologies and ability to understand complex design, system architecture
    • Strong experience in ETL concepts and products
    • Strong experience in SQL/Advanced SQL, NoSql
    • Good familiarity with HDFS environments, Hive, Impala, Hbase, Kafka
    • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, design, develop, review, debug, document, and deliver (especially in a multi-location organization)
    • Good verbal and written (technical) communication
    • Good knowledge of Java
    Desired Skills
    • Experience with scripting like Unix Shell script, Python, Perl
    • Experience with reporting tools like Tableau, QlikView
    • Experience of Git, Github, bitbucket
    • Excellent communication skills with team members, Business owners, across teams
    • Be able to work in a challenging, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines
