Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for growing and maintaining DTE s presence on existing and new social media channels,use their potential to tell stories differently and reach them to a wider audience. She is expected to:

  • Drive usage and engagement for Down To Earth on social media
  • Curate and manage Down To Earth s existing social media channels and build presence on new channels
  • Showcase DTE s content (across languages) appropriately on social media
  • Tell stories in new formats, suitable to channel formats and their audience
  • Engage audience with our domain through creatives, audio-visuals and interactives
  • Moderate user engagement and comments on the channels and the website
  • Liaison with wider CSE team to showcase them on DTE as necessary
  • Innovate and find opportunities and new avenues on social media
  • Skills and Qualifications :
  • Three-six years of experience in managing social media and online communication must have technical skills as well as the ability to create and manage content.
  • Keen understanding of digital and social media tools and skills and how to use them innovatively and to advantage
  • Understanding of how to position content on social media platforms for maximum impact and draw new users
  • Good writing and editing skills in English and Hindi
  • Experience in journalism will be given preference
