Key skills required for the job are: n Solaris Admin-L2, (Mandatory) and Solaris Admin-L1, (Optional). 8+ years of experience in Solaris OS, SUN Server, Hitachi Storage installation and production support. n Excellent in Solaris OS and troubleshooting skills are required. n Hands-on experience on Redhat/Oracle OS, Redhat Active-Passive Cluster. n Implementation& configuration, Bonding Configuration for network interface redundancy. n Hands on working knowledge(L2 troubleshooting) of various OS platform-(Solaris/Linux) and performance tuning n Hands on working knowledge (L2 troubleshooting) of SAN switches, Hitachi Storage etc. n Hands on working knowledge (L2 troubleshooting) of EMC Networker backup n Solaris/Linux OS Installation. n Knowledge of SVM, LDOM, ZFS File system. n Firmware and Patch upgrade (Sun Servers). n Hardware Replacement of SUN Server n Working knowledge and troubleshooting of Solaris and Linux OS Cluster. nu As a Senior Engineer, you are responsible for areas around Engineering, Global Infrastructure Services etc. You are expected to have good practical understanding of technology, its application and be involved in implementation, integrated testing, debugging and documentation. You are expected to be a Technical SME, and also handle Project Effort Estimation Related Activities, process compliance. ,
