Maersk is looking for an experienced Solution Design Lead, with good knowledge of Warehousing & Distribution product design based out of Mumbai and reporting to WnD Product Manager for India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka (IBS) Area. The incumbent will be responsible for leading the WnD Solution Design & Project Implementation for IBS Area. The person will support the Product Manager in leading discussions with the customers (in tandem with internal stakeholders viz. commercial focals, HSSE, Operations,Procurement, etc), understanding scope of work (inclusions & exclusions), process mapping, order management and will work upon a value proposition document capturing techno-commercials,space calculation/optimisation methods, highlighting the as-is vis-a-vis to be process management, order management overview, resource assessment (capex,opex,personnel,etc.), prepare Project charter, Design SOP (including SLA/KPI s), lay out designing, etc .Show More We offerAn excellent opportunity for the right candidate. You will engage with multiple internal and external stakeholders which will greatly enhance your people network, business understanding and product solutions Show More Key responsibilitiesLead Warehousing & Distribution (WnD) Solution Design and Project Implementation in alignment with the customer and company HSSE, compliance guidelines and operating governance Engage with customers & internal stakeholders (Commercial, (Procurement, HSSE, Operations Managers, etc.) to keep abreast of current market trends; review & revise the product practices as necessary to successfully meet customer implied and express needs Understand the customer s WnD landscape with scope of work, process & system mapping, space requirements, order management, design and define the to-be process with project charter preparation, SOP design (including KPIs/SLAs) Propose steps to optimize key business operating variables to maximise efficiencies, throughput and drive cost leadership in solutions Responsible for project implementation and governance with proactive risk analysis & mitigation Resolve escalations and root cause problems through the project implementation cycle.
