Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesRole:Sr. Executive TradeResource: Trade Subject Matter ExpertIndicative generic qualification of Consultant: Graduate with Domain knowledgeExperience: 2 YearsProfile of Consultant: Working experience of 2 years and above in handling trade matters in Ministries / Departments / PSU / Companies / Corporate Houses / Law Firms / Law Research Institutions/ Trade Research Advisories.Scope of work: Engagement of services of a trade expert is sought to provide the following services (not exhaustive, may include other related services):

  • Provide in-house advisory guidance within legalframework of IPHW Division, MeitY so as to secure and safeguard the interests of IPHW Division, MeitY.
  • Provide related expertise to IPHW Division on matters related to trade.
  • Provide professional advice on matters of tariffs, markets, and federal and foreign regulations.
  • Ensure all documents submitted to IPHW Division are in compliance with WTO laws, GST Laws, FDI norms and other such applicable trade laws and agreements of India.
  • Keeps informed of international events and changes to laws and requirements that may impact operations and interests of IPHW Division, MeitY.
  • Review of all documents submitted by the applicants seeking for incentives under the afore mentioned schemes.
  • Studying and scrutinizing the trade developments, creations, designs, enhancements, and advancements.
  • Updating himself/herself with the policies, standard principles and regulations of trade goods and commodities.
  • Assist IPHW Division in preparation of the documents to be issued to the applicants (including various formats for undertakings, guarantee agreements, letters to be issued etc.).
  • Vetting of guidelines and amendments thereto for all existing and proposed schemes, orders etc.
  • Any other activity required with respect to the above outlined process.
