Job Description

Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Web Developer will be primarily responsible for participating in the planning, designing, developing, testing and maintaining web based applications.Collaborating with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web based applications built on various web technologies.Assisting in the collection and documentation of users requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.Interacting with project stakeholders to develop storyboards and UX workflows/ prototypes.Providing stylization and theming customizations.Ensuring cross- browser compatibility across a variety of supported browsers.Core Competency RequirementsStrong proficiency with web technologies such as: HTML5, CSS, JavaScriptProven experience with JavaScript frameworks such as jQuery, Knockout or BackboneExperience with developing for cross- browser compatibilityExperience with UX design and prototypingServer- side web technologies including: MVC3+, PHP, AJAXCMS including Magento and WordpressForum software such as YAF or PHPBBMobile site and application developmentDeveloping and consuming REST servicesPreferred Competency RequirementsPrevious experience working on an agile software development teamWHO CAN APPLY2 - 5 years of experience as a Web DeveloperCollege or University degree in Computer Science, Design, Electronic Media or a related disciplineExcellent time management and oragnisation.,
