Job Description

Develop and execute a product strategy and roadmap for Communities at Red Hat, including backend systems and content management technology, to shape and deliver the strategic evolution of the sites
Be the point of connection for the Communities team and support tooling they depend on (ex. Adobe, Drupal, Eloqua, SSO) and be able to prioritize needs coming from stakeholders of the domains
Consider the user experience across Red Hat owned or influenced web domains when making decisions about what to do on the properties you will manage
Collaborate on a joint strategy for Community at Red Hat with other Product Managers or Product Owners of other parts of the Community experience
Align the various Community properties to the tech stack of the other core domains, according to our digital platform standards and utilizing shared technologies where possible
Evaluate features, ideas, and requests to ensure that teams are prioritizing the highest value work for our communities using qualitative and quantitative data to inform decisions
Work with supporting agencies and vendors to communicate a backlog of work to be delivered by those managed services
Present proposals, actions taken, and results to team members, leadership, and stakeholders effectively

Experience with building digital communities (or experience with open source technology and their supporting open source communities)
Track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Exceedingly capable of leading complex product development workflows and teams, managing issues, and mitigating risks
Proficiency applying user research, data, insights, and analysis to inform product decisions and use resources appropriately
Proficiency with web user experience, design, design thinking, or user behavior
Proficiency with modern web technologies, content management systems, forums and conversation platforms, personalization, and marketing technology
Familiarity with digital accessibility standards (WCAG)
Written and verbal communication style that is authentic and earns trust; especially talented at using data to support effective communications to the business
Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines, manage time effectively, establish priorities, and communicate expectations to stakeholders
Experience with multivariate testing
