ResponsibilitiesDefining technology roadmap and envisioning the tech stack required to scalethe business with a long-term technology visionBuilding and leveraging relationships with internal and external stakeholders forcreating, managing, and delivering various releases of the platform institutingbest engineering practicesWorking closely with Founders and Management Team to lead engineeringplanning to achieve business goals by identifying and prioritizing developmentinitiatives, timetables, implementation, and deployment of productResearching & suggesting new technology/ applications/ protocols/ technologytrends, participating in POCs and leading evaluation of different technologies &platformsContributing to cross-organizational goals with other technology leaders/managersManaging end-to-end detailed development plans for self and team andidentifying budget, resource requirements, and costing. Once identified, leadingCompany efforts to hire the best possible talentOwning the development methodology. Aligning with the executive team toimprove the development process, prioritize projects and manage multiple workstreamsLeading the platform release deployments by executing well documented andapproved plansReviewing business requirements, and reviewing the PRDs/ functionalrequirements for the platform and releases while being responsible for backend,infrastructure, architecture, scalability & server-side engineeringDefining engineering processes and working towards continuous improvementacross planning, architecting, designing, coding, review, and testing2Recruiting, growing, mentoring, and retaining a team of Software Developers,Server Engineers and QA Engineers and helping them in their goal setting andcareer growthManaging outsourced engineering workforce and contractors to get the best outof them in a cost-effective wayIII. Profile RequisitesB. Tech./ B.E or equivalent degree from Tier 1 institute is a mustExperience of 12+ yearsStrong prior experience as Full Stack Developer and Lead which includesfrontend & backend with successful implementations in agile environmentExperience building end to end applications from scratch which have grown tomillion(s) downloads/ transactions per monthExperience in technologies such as Flutter, Angular, React.js, Node.js is a mustExperience in one of more IDEs viz. XCode, Angular CLI, Ionic, Android Studio,Flutter SDK is a mustExperience in CSS, SCSS, C, HTML5, Flutter, Dart, Java, Typescript, ReactNativeis a mustExperience in MongoDB is a must. In addition to this experience in other DBsviz. MariaDB, MySQL, Postgre SQL and others is preferredExperienced in CI/CD and working with agile methodology is a mustExperience in 2 or more medium/ large implementation with ServerlessArchitecture, Lambda, Cloudfront and API Gateway is a mustExperience in AWS EC2, Containers, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Elastic Load Balancing,S3, CDN, EFS, Storage Gateway, Tensor-flow, DynamoDB, Security Hub and SNSis a mustExperience in other clouds viz. Azure and GCP is an added advantage.
