Job Description

    Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesEnsure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal by adherence to company standard operating processes related to warehouse operations ranging from product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service Custodian of P&L of the warehouse Maintain a safe & healthy work environment by enforcing standards along with compliance to statutory / legal regulations Monitor Vendor management & effectively manage related issues. Responsible for overall happy & engaged employees at the warehouse by conducting open houses & various reward & recognition programs Schedule and supervise warehouse team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime. Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance as needed Manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages.The Successful ApplicantMinimum 4 to 8 years relevant work experience in a similar role Graduation degree is mandatory. Advanced degree in engineering or logistics Proficiency with SCM+ for warehouse management (procedure & policy) Good communication skills & proficiency in MS Excel & Word. Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities Ability to work with all levels of company staff Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedbackPersonal CharacteristicsSelf-Motivated and Enthusiastic. High on Integrity. Willingness to do what it takes. Passionate about adding value and creating high impact for both employees and the organization.
