Job Description

    Akamais Control Center is our face to our users on the Web. We provide tools, APIs, analytics, configuration management, web services, training, support and billing for our customers. We focus on building a resilient and scalable platform that enables our web services to run seamlessly.Make a difference in your own wayYou will be tasked with solving critical software automation and verification problems in a distributed systems environment. Working with developers and SQA teams you will become an expert in system-wide automation infrastructure. You will ensure the exceptional performance of the products used to deliver the worlds largest OTT eventsAs a Software Development Engineer in Test II, you will be responsible for:
    • Being able to automate end-to-end testing including frontend/backend applications.
    • Being comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
    • Using wide variety of open source and in-house technologies and tools.
    • Having hands-on approach in implementing QA processes right from requirements analysis, test design, automation and analysis
    • Taking ownership of quality and timeliness of delivery.
    • Collaborating with developers, business and multiple global stakeholders. Drive QA agenda & standards by engaging with them throughout the SDLC
    Do what you loveTo be successful in this role you will:
    • Have Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields
    • Have relevant experience in manual & automation testing (web applications)
    • Have experience on Selenium, Rest Assured and TestNG.
    • Have knowledge on Basic networking concept, postman tool and JIRA
    • Have exposure on Core Java, Unix Commands and software architecture: - Rest APIs.
    • Have understanding of traditional RDBMS schema and SQL.
