Job Description

As part of the IT Web Services team, the Web Developer will be responsible for projects related to EFI s Web sites and assets. The job entails building and maintaining custom web applications including Sitecore development to support EFI s corporate site www.efi.com .The successful candidate will be a self-starter, highly motivated, and possess the ability to prioritize and manage multiple web projects. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively when discussing issues with team members and customers. The technology stack includes ASP.Net, C#, Visual Studio, MS SQL Server, Web Services, and others. This is an excellent opportunity for a web developer to work with a talented, geographically distributed team based in the United States and India.Main duties and responsibilities:

• Design and develop commercial-grade web applications inside and outside the Web Content Management System.
• Create applications using coding best practices and internal EFI coding guidelines.
• Properly document all development in-code and online using confluence.
• Make use of source control system SVN to manage code changes.
• Strong project time management and prioritization skills.
• Communicate questions, concerns, status, and provide recommendations to managers and the architecture team.
• Identify and recommend quality improvements to the software development process and methodology.
• Ability to estimate projects accurately, build project schedules based on level of effort, communicate deliverables, document updates and stay on schedule.
• Communicate and drive resolution to questions and requirement details.
• Manage time effectively with limited supervision and top productivity.
• Provide production support for users/applications during Europe business hours.
• Ability to multi-task, juggle and reprioritize projects based on company impact, etc.
• Identify areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Liaise with key business and technology teams (understanding our business and marketing goals) to ensure stylized, integrated, and aligned solutions are created.

• 3-5 years of experience with web application/Object-Oriented development required.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Absolutely comfortable using Visual Studio.NET, C#, ASP.NET , MVC, JQuery, Bootstrap, Jquery, Html, Jsp /JSON, XML, Ajax, Angular, Css, Microsoft SQL.
• Business-user level exposure and understanding of web technologies (eg.Dreamweaver/or others; HTML,CSS, XHTML, PHP, Java, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Macromedia Flash, JSP, and XML).
• Strong commitment to quality, systems architecture, documentation, and customer-centric philosophy.
• Proactive, strong problem-solving skills, flexible, and willing to take ownership of systems and projects.
• Strong knowledge of the technical aspects of the web and its capabilities.
• Strong analytical, creative, and reasoning abilities.

• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Comprehensive results reporting skills.
• Successful track record interfacing and communicating effectively across cross-functional teams (business and technology), with a proven ability to translate business needs into polished Web and graphic design solutions.
• Good knowledge of user experience, site usability requirements, and an overall great design sense. Understanding of the web development process, including requirements gathering, design, development tools, technologies, QA, and deployment.
• Conducts effective progress evaluations in a timely manner.
• Ability to communicate at all levels, internal and/or external users, customers, peers, supervisors.
• Experience on Sitecore CMS is added advantage.
