About the opportunityDepartment DescriptionThe ISS Technology Department provides systems development, business analysis, architecture & engineering, implementation and support services for FIL s Investment Management, Investment Services & Fund Accounting, Business Finance and several other business groups globally. The department supports the business units catering to the entirety of FIL s Investment Process for all asset classes in all of FIL s international locations, including London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Mumbai.Purpose of the RoleThis role is for an experienced Senior Analyst Programmer to work within the ISS Data & Reporting development team. The position is for an OBIEE/Oracle/Python Developer in Fidelity International. The role involves doing development involving essential skills/concepts of OBIEE, RPD Modelling, RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, Performance Tuning, Python scripting etc.The Senior Analyst Programmer role is focused on delivery of critical functionality for existing and new applications. The candidate is expected to devise solutions to complex problems while working within project constraints and requirements with special focus on maintainability, scalability and performance. The successful candidate will be a key member of the delivery team currently distributed across India and the UK. As a new joiner the individual is expected to bring up to date ideas and thoughts on tools, practices etc.Knowledge of working in Agile Team with DevOps principles would be an additional advantage.The role requires close working with colleagues in the UK offices, and the candidate may be required to work UK business hours sometimes. On occasions the candidate may also be required to work extended hours/weekends to cover changes and release implementations, for example. This role would perfectly suit a dynamic individual looking to work in a fast paced environment to ensure the smooth running of business critical systems.Key ResponsibilitiesDeveloper on OBIEE reporting, RPD modelling, Oracle Database & Data warehouseWorking knowledge of Informatica and Python is preferred. System Design, analysis, development , Testing and L3 support of components developed. Documentation wherever required. Writing high quality & performant code. Writing complex SQL queries & PL/SQL (Packages/Functions/Ref cursors) Performance tuning Hands on Informatica or any other ETL tool.Experience and Qualifications RequiredBE / B-Tech / MCA 5-8 Years of Experience Strong Experience with OBIEE reporting, RPD modelling, Oracle Database & Data warehouse.Should be able to work on RPD modelling with command over tasks like Dimensional Modelling, Hierarchy, Logical Dimensions, Repository variables, Session variable etcWill be responsible for implementing authentication mechanism using LDAP, SSO KerberosHands on experience in Python/Unix and APIs is an added advantage.Hands on Informatica or any other ETL tool. Good understanding of RDBMS Concepts Hands on Experience in writing and performance tuning complex SQL queries Extensive experience and hands-on knowledge of PL/SQL (Packages/Functions/Ref cursors) Experience in performance aspects of large databases Exposure of continuous integration toolsets like Bamboo, Urban Deploy Good understanding of more than one software development methodology (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)Ability to write Unit test cases and scenarios based on the specificationsAbility to translate functional / non-functional requirements to systems requirementsFlexible to pick on new technologies as and when required Experience in Agile and Scrum development Exposure and knowledge of Financial Services domain Extremely good communication skills, verbal and written Excellent inter-team relationship skillsAbout you About Fidelity InternationalFidelity International offers investment solutions and services and retirement expertise to more than 2.56 million customers globally.
