Job Description

Job Purpose (Job Summary): This role would primarily work with New Data team as data analyst and would be contributing for implementing and adoption of Data issue resolution operational model. This role primarily works with service now and builds and manages the data request from and indexes and routes the data issues to respective data owner /data custodian. The Role contributes in building a robust model for complete data request process and continue to mature alongside of data integrity team. With strong data skills along with good understanding of investment services functions, this role ensures that the requests are routed to the appropriate teams on a timely manner within the SLA s. Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Develop a strong understanding of data owners, data flows within different investment services and role and responsibilities of data custodians.
  • Contribute in building a good operational data issue model and continue to mature the model towards robust data portal
  • Build an effective data request service now requirement capture to route all the data issues to appropriate data owners / data custodians.
  • Ensure All Data requests raised via Data Help porta /Service now are indexed and routed to the appropriate teams / data owners
  • Work with different data owners, data custodians and build robust data issue resolutions methods with in SLAs and design effective communication plans.
  • Monitor the progress and track the status of the request. Work with data owners / IS teams to ensure that all requests are attended
  • Develops & Publish Management reports and Key metrics dashboard to analyze the type of requests received across the team and the status of data requests.
  • Build operating procedures, process flows and training materials. Impart training on the usage of the service now and data help portals
  • Work with internal teams like Data Governance, Data Integrity and Metadata teams where metadata needs / data quality measures needs to be developed.
Work Experience / Knowledge:
  • Experience in Asset Management/ Investment operations domain with strong knowledge and in-depth understanding of investment data
  • Very strong Problem-Solving Skills with good analysis skills
  • Strong Organizational skills necessary to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and process several streams of work simultaneously
  • Experience in working with service now or similar work flow tool
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft products,
  • Understanding of investment data and data portal/ data issue resolutions systems
