Were proud to offer you choice and flexibility.Essential Responsibilities:To work in flexible shift timings and participate in a cross-shore development teamInfluence and collaborate to create amazing APIsCoach Junior Engineers and empower them to work efficientlyReview and Approve code modules using formal approval processParticipate in Agile scrums with cross-functional teamsParticipate in Agile sprints including story writing, planning, daily standups, backlog grooming sessions and reviewsParticipate in SAFe ceremoniesProvide on-call supportAnalyze production defects, troubleshoot systems, identify root cause and implement fixesWork with third party vendors to develop software and/or integrate their software into our productsPerform other duties and/or special projects as assignedQualifications/Requirements:Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related degree with modern application development experience, with 3-5 years of experience in Technology and 2+ years in API development using Java and Spring Framework, or in lieu of a degree, 5-7 years of experience in Technology and 4+ years of experience in API development using Java and Spring Framework.Strong technical expertise in Java, Spring Projects - Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Cloud, Spring Data JPA, Kafka, Git, Maven, REST and SOAPGood to have knowledge on Apigee, Spring Data GemfireFamiliarity in designing applications using SOLID principles, Java and microservice design patternsExperience developing microservices with 12-factor app methodologyWorking knowledge in RDBMSExperience writing unit, integration and e2e tests using frameworks like Junit, Mockito, Spring TestExperience in Test Driven DevelopmentExperience with continuous integration environments and using tools like JenkinsStrong desire to develop high quality code with ability to review and leverage quality check tools like Sonar, PMD etc.Familiarity with Cloud Platform like Pivotal Cloud Foundry, AWSFamiliarity with Monitoring tools and have passion to learn and work on Resiliency of AppsExperience with Agile/SAFe application development and familiarity with tools like JIRAStrong communication skills with technical and non-technical peersStrong cross-functional team player with the ability to work seamlessly across a matrix organizationStrong oral and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skillsPassionate to learn and understand diversified business domains and technologiesStrong attention to detail in a team environmentAbility to quickly learn new technologies and frameworksAbility to analyze, use structured problem solving and available tools to troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, action plans, impact and resolution optionsFor Internal Applicants: Understand the criteria or mandatory skills required for the role, before applying.Inform your Manager or HRM before applying for any role on Workday.Ensure that your Professional Profile is updated (fields such as Education, Prior experience, Other skills) and it is mandatory to upload your updated resume (Word or PDF format)Must not be any corrective action plan (First Formal/Final Formal, PIP)Employees who have completed 18 months in the organization and 12 months in current role and level are only eligible.Level 8+ employees can applyDesired Characteristics:Desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced environmentStrong interpersonal skills with ability to influence clients, team members, management and external groupsHands on experience with BDD automation framework like Cucumber,
