2025! This is the year that Global Clinical supply is targeting for completing the evolution our systems into a digital enabled landscape of 300+ associates. Join a team of globally collaborative colleagues at the Global Clinical Supply (GCS) function to support clinical trials from Phase 1 to approval and be a key interface between Technical Research & Development (TRD) teams and the Clinical teams! The Information Governance Manager (IGM) will coordinate the setup, maintenance and development of the Global Clinical Supply (GCS) Information management framework, to ensure appropriate behavior in the valuation, creation, storage, use, archiving and deletion of information. They will contribute to establishment of the Supply Chain Master Data Analytics framework and relative IT solutions, integrated with the other functions of the TRD organization. This role is accountable for enforcement and maintenance of the agreed process once established. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: . Identify and define GCS and TRD information needs For reference master data management a. work with business stakeholder to identify data and metadata (logical and physical models, companion files,.) b. Propose, draft, review, and refine business names, definitions, and other data model specifications for assigned entities and data attributes. c. Ensure the validity and relevance of assigned data model subject areas. d. Maintain assigned reference data values and meanings. e. collect provenance and lineage metadata For Data Quality management: a. Assist in data quality test planning and design, test data creation, and data requirements verification. b. Identify and help resolve data issues c. Assist in data quality analysis and improvement, provide the requirements and support the Technical Data Steward for implementation of rules. d. Monitor corrections and improvements & evaluate current measurements. Provide input to data policies, standards, and procedures. Supports an effective data community with a distinct identity, to facilitate shared learning between Business Users and Stewards and to promote active Data Governance through the MDM and System and Information Governance team Analyze data quality enrichment and cleansing request. Lays out plan for Data Quality corrections Supports activities related to establishing Data Stewardship process for data quality and consistency, and collaborates with MDM and other TRD teams performing the data consistency controls in alignment with CDO best practices Assists relationship with IT and Business teams responsible for delivery of technical solutions needed by Information Management as well as data consistency management practices, in collaboration with the SSIMs in the System Governance Team and CDO EEO Statement Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Minimum requirements Bachelors / Master s degree from reputed University in Pharma, Computers or IT or equivalent. 5+years of experience working as a data steward for key business functions such as supply chain, procurement, finance, manufacturing etc. Hands-on experience in working in Data Governance, Hands-on Master data and data management domain. Good knowledge of GxP environment. Ability to work with Data Stewards and Data Quality teams in creating meaningful insights, which include data quality KPI s, policies and standards.
