Job Description

    • Associate Review Manager, Document Review Services, Epiq Global Hyderabad, India
    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Assist with research on technical and industry-specific issues;
    • Assist with drafting of reports and findings, including the preparation of tables, exhibits, and charts;
    • Participate in QC review and prepare draft questions for escalations to clients;
    • Create, run, and validate complex searches.
    • Creation of review workflow as per clients requirements
    • Execute quality control and quality assurance best practices, including the use of statistical sampling, advanced searching techniques, and the application of custom scripts.
    • Handle document review projects having teams varying from 10-20 members, under the oversight of a review manager.
    • Provide status and progress updates on the project.
    • Escalate issues and follow up for responses.
    • Act as an initial escalation point and SME for the project team.
    • Act as the main point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
    • Lead and motivate teams of permanent reviewers and contractors.
    KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
    • Sound knowledge of the document review and e-discovery/litigation industry
    • Experience with Managed review as well as data breach projects and flexibility to shift between these two work streams.
    • Knowledge of litigation management software: Relativity, Xerox, and/or DocuMatrix
    • Industry-specific subject matter knowledge/understanding
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PPT);
    • Familiar with the U.S. judicial system, understanding of legal fundamentals, methods, and procedures from the U.S. perspective
    • Good communication skills, both written and oral, strong English reading comprehension

    • Assist in data collection/report preparation on various metrics;
    • Should be able to create, run, and validate complex search strings.
    • Should be able to create and implement review workflows as per clients requirements and Epiqs SOPs and within various document review platforms, including the creation of batch sets, fields, choices, layouts, views, rules, security, persistent highlighting sets, and search term reports.
    QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
    • LLB (three- or five-year program);
    • LLM (optional) India or abroad;
    • Work Experience: 7 years of relevant experience
