Job Description

Job Purpose: This role will support Invesco s global Investments team, specifically equity team and counterparty relations function and plays a role in synthesizing quantitative and qualitative information. The prime focus of this role is to collaborate with our internal business partners to design and structure complex databases, create reporting dashboards and scorecards that can be leveraged by our senior leaders to help us form more strategic partnerships with our most important counterparties.The incumbent is also expected to be highly responsive, work as part of a team to ensure that relevant tasks are prioritized, actioned and completed accurately and on time.Key Responsibilities

  • Manage extensive database of metrics and information to support the development of quarterly scorecards for our most important global counterparties and business.
  • Structure complex business data And conduct primary analysis to uncover insights, identify and validate value creation opportunities.
  • Synthesize results of quantitative and qualitative research and analysis into implications key trends, and/or recommendations. Work with stakeholders to create effective, scalable and intuitive reporting solutions.
  • Identify material gaps in business data and suggest solutions to resolve absent, inconsistent or inaccurate data; including manually aggregate and clean data to support the goal of long-term automation
  • Help create an infrastructure where our existing data collection procedures and reporting timeframes are fully leveraged and integrated into the existing reporting process; this will require working with colleagues across corporate banking, distribution, corporate finance, investment administration, and capital markets.
  • Conduct industry research and market analysis Help develop content for and coordinate executive workshops and working sessions.
  • Clear presentation of insights via spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and self-service visualization tools
  • Complete ad hoc and special projects to support the function
Work Experience/Knowledge:
  • A minimum of 2+ years professional experience in business analysis or related field is required .
  • Knowledge of financial services industry is preferred
Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)Bachelor s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field is requiredLicense/Registration/Certification: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Advance knowledge of excel and Power BI is an added advantage
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • A true blue Techno-Functional who can setup and automate new reports, manage business reporting and templated analytics
  • Ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex data systems and collaborate to develop creative solutions
  • Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver effective oral and written communications
