• Provides standard reports and ad hoc reporting for internal and external audiences. With guidance, identifies trends and prepares analytical summaries. Applies a basic understanding of the company s business, products and customers. Assists in conducting research and analysis projects. Reports on fund performance and sales data (utilizing technology tools, such as Morningstar and Advantage Hypotheticals) to use in fund marketing materials or sales presentations.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Business Intelligence Analyst Reporting & Subject Matter Expertise (60%):

• With guidance, prepares internal and external reports highlighting trends and opportunities for internal clients. Prepares standard reports for external client use.
• Answers basic questions on assigned reports.
• With guidance, prepares analytical summaries on generated reports.
• Assists team members and clients in developing new reports

Performance & Investment Analysis (20%):

• Participates in analyzing performance and investments that are ultimately used for financial advisors
• Interprets and prioritizes client requests. assists in the preparation of research and analysis on requested funds.
• Develops an understanding of fund performance and benchmarks for retail and institutional funds (e.g., relative performance against
• Peer group, investment platform review, statistical fund risk metrics, fund characteristics and attribution
• Assists in the preparation of the initial response to requestor and communicates the requested research and analytics

Industry, Competitive, and Product Research (10%):

• Assists in conducting research for Franklin Templeton (FT) decision makers on retail and institutional products and markets globally.
• Assists senior team members to report on global sales, assets, and market share data of FT and its competitors.
• May assist in developing presentations for use by broker/dealer, client, and investor relations.
• Conducts research projects for Global Product Strategy partners

Client Communication (5%):

• Works with team members to ensure analysis is appropriate for internal clients
• Develops working relationships with team members and business partners throughout Global Product Strategy

Technology (5%):

• Runs standard pre-developed reports for clients
