Job Description

    • Cognos Developer
    • Strong Delivery and Engagement Management experience
    • 5+ years Requirements Development
    • Create data models and designs to meet specific business needs that require sourcing data from multiple source systems
    • Develop ETL / ELT / Data pipelines that will extract data from an operational database and populate the staging and target data warehouse schemas
    • Analyzes, designs, implements, and supports web-related applications support of companys internet/intranet strategy
    • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and document BI requirements
    • Analyze requirements and architect appropriate solutions, with detailed design documents
    • Review the current architecture and recommend changes as appropriate
    • Proficiency with Cognos BI (Preferably 11.1.7) Product Suite (Report Studio, Analysis Studio, Query Studio, Framework Manager, Transformer, workspace advanced)
    • Worked on building complex reports and Cognos model for Enterprise Data warehouse platforms
    • Experience in Performance tunning and code Optimization
    • Should have experience in working with business users on preparing use cases and Supporting UAT
    • Communicate effectively with global customers and collaborate well within a team environment to drive results.
    • Extensive experience as a Tableau developer in combination with Cognos dashboard and report development, collaboration with and presentation to the business, and solution adoption will be plus.
    • Strong experience in designing efficient metadata models using Cognos Framework Manager and data modules
    • Ability to combine technical skills in Tableau and Cognos with an understanding of health care data and business processes and oversight
    • Extensive experience managing schedules/timelines and structuring projects in an iterative fashion while delivering in accordance with overlapping deadlines
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to independently and within a team and to employ effective teaching strategies with diverse audiences.
